TUCKSHOP COOK
Casual, up to 15 hours/week, school term only
position description
Position purpose
This position is responsible for baking some items from the Tuckshop menu.
Main tasks
· Ensure compliance with all food safety related regulations
· Provide assistance in food preparation in the tuckshop
· Undertake baking and food preparation as required
· Oversee Basic cleaning duties
· Liaise with Finance Officer regarding ordering
· Fulfil other duties as required by management

Qualifications
· Food Safety Supervisor qualifications
Experience
Relevant experience in the food/hospitality industry is necessary
· Experience supervising staff is desirable
Knowledge
· An understanding of commercial kitchen operation is desirable

· Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members
· Time management: complete duties within the role in an efficient and timely manner
Personal attributes

Other
· Working with Children Blue Card (essential)
· Current valid driver’s license, minimum of Class “C” or equivalent.
· Current First Aid Certificate, or ability to obtain
