TUCKSHOP COORDINATOR
Casual, 15 hours/week, school term only
position description
Position purpose
This position is responsible for all Tuckshop operations and staff.
Main tasks
· Ensure tuckshop staff understand their work responsibilities and timing
· Ensure compliance with all food safety related regulations
· Assist in the development of and compliance with policies and procedures
· Provide assistance in food preparation in the tuckshop
· Undertake baking and food preparation as required
· Ensure deliveries are checked and recorded
· Ensure temperature records are maintained
· Liaise with school
· Review new food products and implement any special tuckshop project,
· Ensure Count, rotate and store stock,
· Oversee Basic cleaning duties,
· Liaise with Finance Officer regarding ordering and all financial matters
· Assist staff when required
· Fulfil other duties as required by management

Qualifications
· Food Safety Supervisor qualifications
Experience
Relevant experience in the food/hospitality industry is necessary
· Experience supervising staff is desirable
Knowledge
· An understanding of commercial kitchen operation is desirable

· Working with Children Blue Card (essential)
· Current valid driver’s license, minimum of Class “C” or equivalent.
· Current First Aid Certificate, or ability to obtain
